Finland - Last union accepts agreement for private social services sector - March 31, 2026

Trade union JHL and the Finnish Association of Private Care Providers Hali have reached a negotiation result in the private social services sector. JHL has approved the negotiation result whereby it joins the collective agreement for the private social services sector. The other unions concluded a collective agreement the previous week without JHL, and the only option available for JHL was to accept that settlement and enter the collective agreement that the others had made earlier. Negotiating about better pay increases or the text of the agreement was no longer possible.
