Sweden - Agreement on overtime - December 31, 2025
Seko union has now reached an agreement with employers’ association Almega Tågföretagen that all overtime work will be considered overtime and thus generate compensation for traffic personnel where this applies today. In an agreement that was to come into effect from 1 January 2026, overtime compensation would only be paid after 15 minutes of work. This has now been stopped after constructive negotiations between Seko and Almega Tågföretagen. In addition, the parties have agreed on a letter of intent for the creation of a negotiation agreement.
