Lithuania - Minimum wage up 11.1% - December 31, 2025
From 1 January 2026, the minimum hourly wage (MVA) will rise by 11.1%. Wages will not be lower than € 7.05, and the minimum monthly wage (MMA) will reach € 1,153. This is a gross wage, i.e. without tax deductions, therefore the actual wage received by the employee "in hand" may vary depending on the amount of taxes paid, the amount of tax-free income applied, tax benefits and other individual circumstances. The minimum wage may be paid only for unskilled work. If skilled work is performed, the wage must be higher than the minimum.
