Advancing Safe, Union-Led Data Collaboration with Open Supply Hub
WageIndicator has been a long-time collaborator and contributor to the Open Supply Hub (OSHub) platform.
Over the past year, WageIndicator has been partnering with OS Hub to deepen trusted collaboration with trade unions in Indonesia and Türkiye. The project focuses on moving beyond introductory engagement toward safe, union-owned data sharing - supporting unions to understand, shape and use supply chain transparency tools on their own terms.
Building on WageIndicator’s longstanding relationships with trade unions worldwide, we facilitated interviews, trust-building sessions and technical exchanges that directly contributed to OS Hub’s report “Where We Go From Here: Building on Beyond Transparency”. Our role ensured that union perspectives, practical realities and concerns around data safety were reflected in the report’s recommendations and OS Hub’s ongoing partnerships with the trade unions in Indonesia and Türkiye.
As part of this work, we participated in a joint OS Hub workshop with brands and trade unions during the OECD Garment Forum in Paris in February 2026 to identify priority data gaps in supply chain transparency - including wage benchmarks, gender pay transparency and monitoring systems that workers trust.
OS Hub's Pilot Data Integrations
In addition, we are happy that as part of this growing ecosystem, Open Supply Hub now refers to WageIndicator’s Minimum Wage rates and Living Wage estimates within their Pilot “Data Integrations”. These Data Integrations are shown on OSHub facility-pages. By linking credible, publicly accessible and applicable Minimum Wage rates and Living Wage estimates to mapped production locations, we help connect supply chain visibility, strengthening social dialogue, due diligence and worker-centred accountability.
