Minimum Wage in two states of the USA has been increased - July 1, 2020
The minimum wage in two states of USA, California and Maryland, has increased with effect from 01 July 2020. The minimum wage in Berkley and San Francisco (CA) is now $16.07 per hour. In Emeryville (CA), the minimum wage rate has been raised to $16.84 per hour. In Milpitas (CA), the minimum wage rate is now $15.40 per hour. In Pasadena (CA), the minimum wage rate is $14.25 (for employers with 25 or fewer employees) and $15 (for employers with 26 or more employees). In San Leandro (CA), the minimum wage is $15 per hour.
In the Montogomery County of Maryland, minimum wage rates have been raised for small, medium and large employers to $13, $13.25, and $14 respectively.
