Norway - Main agreement on restructuring - January 31, 2026

LO union confederation and employers’ organization Virke have agreed on changes to the main agreement for the period 2025–2029. In the same way as in the main agreement with NHO, a text has already been submitted that clarifies that employees and employers will also work together on restructuring when it comes to innovation, the environment and climate. It has also been agreed that a multi-party committee will be established to look at how to strengthen local cooperation in groups and businesses with different decision-making structures.
