Netherlands - New agreement for metal and technology industry - January 31, 2026
After tough negotiations, FNV Metaal union has achieved a collective agreement for the Metal & Technology sector. The new collective agreement has a term of 24 months: from 1 February 2026, to 31 January 2028. Wages will rise by 3% as of 1 March 2026. There will be a € 132 gross one-off payment in November 2026 and a € 115 gross structural addition as of 1 March 2027. This amounts to a 3.2% increase on average. Members of FNV will receive a full net reimbursement of their union dues in 2026. The early retirement scheme for demanding work will be continued.
