July 2023 - Denmark - Injured Wolt couriers are entitled to compensation

According to the insurance company Arbejdsmarkedets Erhvervssikring, Wolt couriers injured in recent years are entitled to compensation. In the future, Wolt must take out statutory workers' insurance for all its riders.

The Danish Occupational Injury Insurance Act covers all Wolt riders, and the decision is retroactive.

If Wolt appeals and the case starts in the district court and ends up in the Supreme Court, it can take seven or eight years to get a final decision
