Events Overview
WageIndicator Foundation will host a side session during the “OECD Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector” in 2026. Our side session “Data-Driven Organising in Indonesia’s Garment Sector - From Compliance to Change” will take place on February 10th 2026. During the session we will explore practical ways for brands, suppliers, trade unions, and governments to co-own responsibility for turning insights into outcomes especially for meaningful due diligence. We will also share the lessons learned and hope to inspire a shift by the end of the session: from compliance exercises to worker-driven change that truly transforms factory floors.
How is a minimum tariff calculated for self-employed workers? How can you ensure that this number has an impact in practice?
In this webinar, Milen van Boldrik, will share her insights and lessons learned. Milen has been an advocate for the Dutch Association of Journalists (NVJ) for almost eight years, campaigning for fair and transparent working conditions for freelance journalists. She will share how they established a minimum tariff for self-employed freelancers, how they got clients to accept this, what the up- and downsides are and under what conditions a minimum tariff can have an impact on workers. Join the webinar and share your experiences!

As algorithmic management and AI technologies steadily spread across all sectors of the conventional economy, these emerging challenges risk undermining the resilience of existing protective frameworks. What are the paths ahead to ensure that industrial relations and regulatory systems can adapt to — and internalise — digital innovation without losing their protective function?
