Breastfeeding
The Employment Amendment Act of 2021 requires employers to provide two paid 30-minute nursing breaks (one hour in total) to nursing women for a minimum period of six months from the birth of the child. Employers are further required to provide suitable space for breastfeeding at the workplace, ensuring the privacy and safety of nursing women and children.
