Article 34.2/ Employer contributes 6 % of the worker monthly salary to pension fund
CHAPTER 2. TRAINING
Article 29.1/ Short courses and training programs are planned and arranged by the bank to its workers
Article 29.2/ any worker have the opportunity to peruse his education within or abroad of the country and financially supported if he/she fulfilled the criteria of selection
Article 29.2.8 / 100% Tuition fee and registration fee is covered by the Bank for those workers who wants to follow their high school education
Article 29.10/ The Bank give chance to 120 workers to follow their education for diploma and degree level
Article 29.11/ IT training is provided to lawyers and engineers of the banks with 50% of cost sharing to education charges
CHAPTER 3. SICKNESS AND DISABILITY
Article 31.1/ Medicine and prescribed supportive medical materials expense is covered for the sick worker
Article 31.4/ If the medical board approved that the sick person or worker is referred to abroad medication the bank will cover medical expense or up to 15,000.00 ET
Article31.3/ Special care is given at work place to HIV/AIDS positive workers
Article 31.8. 3/ Up to 12 months the bank will pay full salary with sickness leave to temporary disabled worker due to work place accident
CHAPTER 4. WORK AND FAMILY ARRANGEMENT
Article 30 4.1 / 30 days, before giving birth and 60 days after birth giving totally 90 days maternity leave with pay is given to female workers
Article 30.4.2/ Expense of medical examination to pregnant woman is covered by the employer.
Article 30.4.4/ the medical expense in the case of abortion is covered by the employer
Article 30.4.5/ Flower and 400ETB gift is presented by the boss of the bank to the working women who gave birth
Article 30.4.5/ 3 working day paternity leave is provided to a person whose wife gave birth
CHAPTER 5. CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT
Article 13,7/ The trial period is 45 days.
Article 36.2 / Severance payment agreed. Full salary is paid for every year service plus in addition one third of the salary for those who serve more than 10 years.
Article 36.3/ Severance agreement related with the service year of the individual worker.
CHAPTER 6. WORKING HOUR SCHEDULE, AND HOLIDAY
Article 22.1.1./ working hour per day is 8 hour while 41.30 per week. And working days in one week is 6 days.
Article 23 .3/ Maximum over time work per day should not exceed more than 2 hours and agreed
Article 30.1.1.1/ Paid annual leave for any worker who have served one year is 18 days. That means paid annual leave is 2 weeks and 2 days
Article 24. Paid holiday is agreed in CBA is not specified but says that on any national holidays workers can have holiday rest with pay
Weekly rest day is not mentioned
CHAPTER 7. WAGE
Article 16. 1.5/ wage increment is according to the wage scale of the bank and wage increase starts on the first July.
CHAPTER 8. PAYMENT FOR STAND BY WORK

CHAPTER 9. PRIMIUM FOR NIGHT WORK
Article 23 4.2/ Over time evening time work is paid by multiplying the salary by 0.00855 anD for night work by 0.0100, in the same formula, the holiday work hour is multiplied by 0.015
