AI, Algorithmic Management and Collective Bargaining in European services: Fast track or slow lane? - 2026
About the webinar
In the services sector, artificial intelligence (AI) and algorithmic management (AM) are increasingly used to monitor, evaluate, schedule and coordinate workers. This raises important questions about workers’ rights, data protection, transparency and the role of collective bargaining. To examine how trade unions are responding, FES Future of Work and UNI Europa, in cooperation with the Central European Labour Studies Institute (CELSI) and WageIndicator, have analysed collective bargaining practices related to AI and algorithmic management in the European services sector. The webinar will present the key findings of the study and concrete examples and practices.
