Mexico Increases Minimum Wage for 2014 for Geographic Zones "A" and "B" - January 9, 2014

The National Minimum Wage Commission approved a general 3.9% increase in the minimum wage for geographic Zones "A" and "B."  The wage increase came into effective from January 1, 2014.

For Zone A, the 3.9% wage increase will raise the minimum wage to $67.29 Mexican pesos (approximately $5.18 USD) per day.  While for Zone B, the 3.9% wage increase will raise the minimum wage to $63.77 Mexican pesos (approximately $4.91 USD) per day.
