Argentina Government Announces 31% Hike in Minimum Wage - September 5, 2014

The minimum wage in Argentina has increased by 23%, up to $4,400, with effect from September 1, 2014. From January 2015 there will be further increase of 8%, making it $4,716 pesos. 

The pay hike was agreed upon at the annual Wage Council, by representatives of the government, unions and businesses at the Labor Ministry.
