France Increases Minimum wage by 8 percent - January 3, 2020

The minimum wage for both skilled and unskilled workers has risen by 8 percent starting from January 1, 2020.  The VKF, a forum of employers unions, and the government agreed to raise the minimum wage for skilled and unskilled workers by 8 percent in both 2019 and 2020.

Mihály Varga, Minister of Finance, announced that the gross monthly minimum wage for skilled laborers will stand at HUF 210,600 and the wage for unskilled laborers at HUF 161,000.
