The Cambodian government has increased next year’s minimum wage for the garment sector from $140 to $153 a month.
Out of the three figures - the employers’ $147 offer, the government’s recommendation of $148 and unions’ request for $171 - the Legal Advisory Council finalised on $153 a month for the garment and shoe Industry in Cambodia
