The living minimum is to be raised to CZK 3,860 (EUR 155) from CZK 3,410 (EUR 137) per month, while the existential minimum will be raised to CZK 2,490 (EUR 100) from CZK 2,200 (EUR 88) per month. The increase was necessary because both amounts have been at the same level for eight years, while prices have increased by 13% during that time.
