Mr. Laeeq Ahmed - Finance Secretary\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>SHORT RECITAL OF THE CASE\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Whereas the Union submitted its Charter of Demands date 29-06-2011 includes\nnumber of demands\u002Fgrievances of the workers for consideration by the\nCorporation.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>And whereas pursuant to the submission of these demands etc. a copy of which\nis enclosed (Annex), the representative of the Corporation and the\nrepresentatives of the Union on various dates entered into a dialogue with view\nto amicably settle the said demands through the process of discussion,\nnegotiations and Collective Bargaining.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>And whereas the parties above named have after discussion now reached an\nagreement on the terms following in full and final settlement of all matters,\ndemands and disputes, differences as contained in “Annex” including those\nbrought under reference to the Corporation in-writing or orally upto the time\nof signing of this Agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>NOW THEREFORE, THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSED AS FOLLOWS:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>A. The C.B.A in consideration is:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>i) Entering into and abiding by the Agreement for the period hereinafter\nmentioned.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>ii) Undertaking to keep industrial peace on one hand and co-operating fully\nwith the Corporation in its efforts to increase efficiency and profitability,\non the other hand.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>iii) Undertaking not to raise or pursue any demand involving financial\ncommitment on the part of the Corporation except benefits and facilities etc.,\nwhich may from time to time be specifically granted by the Government of\nPakistan through the process of law and made applicable to the Corporation.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>iv) Agreeing that during the period of the Agreement, there shall be no\nstrike demonstration or slowing down of work in any manner, what-so-ever.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>B. TECHNICAL PAY\u002FSPECIAL PAY\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>The Fire Fighting staff posted on Fire Tender is allowed special pay of Rs.\n110\u002F- per month.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>3. HOUSE MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-ONCERISE_trigger\">\u003Cp>House Maintenance Allowance is increase from 5% to 5.50% per month.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>4. CONVEYANCE ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-COMMUTE_trigger\">\u003Cp>a) The rate of conveyance allowance is raised form Rs. 2500\u002F- to Rs. 2650\u002F-\nper month.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>b) The employees possessing Motor Cycle\u002FScooter shall be paid maintenance\nallowance at the rate of Rs. 2750\u002F- per month.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>c) Car maintenance allowance is increased from Rs. 2800\u002F- to Rs. 2925\u002F- per\nmonth.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>5. SOCKS AND SHOES ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-ONCERISE2_trigger\">\u003Cp>The existing Socks and Shoes Allowance is increased from Rs. 1000\u002F- to Rs.\n1100\u002F- per annum.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>6. SITE\u002FSHIFT ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Site\u002Fshift allowance shall be paid @ Rs. 220\u002F- per month.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>7. MEAL ALLOWANCE – OVERTIME\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Meal charges are increased from Rs. 100\u002F- to Rs. 120\u002F- per month.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>8. UTILITY CHARGES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Utility charges are increased from Rs. 700\u002F- to Rs. 900\u002F- per month.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>9. LUNCH SUBSIDY\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-MEALALL_trigger\">\u003Cp>Lunch subsidy to all the Unionized Employees is increased from Rs. 400\u002F- to\nRs. 550\u002F- per month.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>10. ENTERTAINMENT ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Entertainment allowance is increased from Rs. 400\u002F- to Rs. 500\u002F- per\nmonth.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>11. CHILDREN EDUCATION ALLOWANCE REIMBURSEMENT\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight focus\" id=\"clause-educationtuition\">\u003Cp>a) Children Education Allowance is increased from Rs. 700\u002F- to Rs. 800\u002F- per\nmonth per child.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>b) The existing expenditure in connection with Hifz-e-Quran for the children\non unionized employees is increased from Rs. 500\u002F- to Rs. 600\u002F- per month per\nchild.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>c) Sons\u002FDaughters of deceased employees will be allowed Children Education\nAllowance like other employees.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>12. REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES OF OBTAINING HIGHER EDUCATION\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-trainingfund\">\u003Cp>Admission, tuition and examination fee shall be reimbursed to the employees\non completion of Inter or at least two semesters of ACCA, CIMA, PHD in\nEconomics and MBA in Finance\u002FHR from an Institution recognized by the HEC.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>13. HOUSE BUILDING\u002FRENOVATION LOAN\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>i) House Building Loan shall be granted @ 60 basic pay plus DA or Rs.\n600,000\u002F- whichever is higher.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>ii) The cost of judicial paper Rs. 500\u002F- for Indemnity Bond shall be\nreimbursed by the Corporation.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>14. WELFARE LOAN\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Budget for Welfare Loan is increased to Rs. 3,000,000\u002F-\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>15. MARRIAGE LOAN\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Loan on second marriage to an employee shall be allowed provided his wife\nand expired or separated.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>16. RAIN\u002FFLOOD\u002FEARTHQUAKE (DISASTER) LOAN\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Rain\u002FFlood\u002FEarthquake loan amounting to Rs. 50,000\u002F- recoverable in 36 equal\ninstallments shall be granted to an employee with following conditions:-\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>a) The employee is domiciled of affected area.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>b) The Government has declared the area as disturbed.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>c) A certificate from Union Council is issued regarding the extent of loss\nof property owned by the employee.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>d) Loan shall not be granted in case of outstanding amount of earlier\nloan.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>17. MEDICAL FACILITIES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-healthcareaccess\">\u003Cp>a) Ceiling of purchase of medicine is increased from Rs. 48000\u002F- to Rs.\n52000\u002F-.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>b) The monitory limit of Room Entitlement during hospitalization in respect\nof employees is enhanced to Rs. 1600\u002F- per day.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>c) Lab facilities at Agha Khan University Hospital shall be allowed for\nother than routine tests.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>d) During hospitalization of an employee Food Supplements shall be allowed\non the advice of the Doctor.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>e) Instead of three, two estimates will be required from panel Dentists for\nOrthodontic Dental Treatment.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>f) The cost of Hearing Aid for the employee has been increased from Rs.\n5000\u002F- to Rs. 7000\u002F-.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>18. DAI CHARGES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Dai Charges are increased from Rs. 4000\u002F- to Rs. 6000\u002F-.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>19. DEATH AID\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-funeralpay\">\u003Cp>Funeral expenses are increased from Rs. 30,000\u002F- to Rs. 40,000\u002F-.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>20. PROMOTION\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>a) Those Naib Qasids who were allowed move over earlier shall be designated\nas Qasid.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>b) Naib Qasids who have completed five years satisfactory service shall be\ndesignated as Qasid in Grade – II.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>c) The promotion of those employees who were promoted on acting charges\nbasis due to shortfall in regular service\u002FACRs shall stand regularized.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>21. SUPERANNUATION AWARD\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Those employees who retire after completion of 25 years of more shall be\nallowed one month’s gross salary as retiring benefit.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>22. SPECIAL SERVICE AWARD\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-SENIOR_trigger\">\u003Cp>a) Special Service Award equal to one month’s gross pay shall be allowed\nto the employee who shall complete 35 years service in TCP from the date of\nsigning of this agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>b) Special Service Award equal to one month gross pay shall be paid in case\nof death of an employee during service.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>23. ZIARAT FACILITY\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>a)The present facility of 20 days Special Leave for Umrah twice in the\nentire service of an employee shall also be applicable in case of Ziarat.\nRestriction of twice in service in case of Umrah or Ziarat shall remain the\nsame.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>b)Non-Muslim employees shall be allowed 20 days special leave for\nyatra\u002Fpilgrimage.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>24. LEAVE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Encashment of leave on retirement shall be allowed @ gross pay without\ndeduction of conveyance\u002Fmaintenance allowance.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>25. SPORTS AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Three members committee consisting of the following shall be constituted to\nmake recommendation for establishing a Sports Complex for Sports activities and\nconstruction of an Auditorium\u002FMarriage Lawn at Korangi Godown.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>(i) A member to be nominated by the Management\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>(ii) A member to be nominated by the Officers Association\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>(iii) A member to be nominated by the C.B.A\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>26. FORMATION OF WELFARE TRUST\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Three members committee consisting two members to be nominated by the\nManagement and a representative of C.B.A shall be constituted to examine the\npossibility of establishing a Welfare Trust and make recommendations for\nManagement’s consideration.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>27. SALE OF DIFFERENT COMMODITIES TO STAFF\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Management shall supply the commodities procured locally\u002Fimported by TCP\nfrom time to time to the employees at a rate and quantity to be decided the\nManagement and C.B.A.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>28. TCP EMPLOYEES HOUSING SOCIETY\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Three members committee consisting of the following shall be constituted to\nexplore the possibility of establishing TCP Employees Housing Society on the\nland occupied by TCP by virtue of merger of defunct CEC\u002FRECP: -\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>(i) A member from Legal Division to be nominated by the Management\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>(ii) A member from REM Division to be nominated by the Management.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>(iii) A member to be nominated by the C.B.A\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>29. GRATUITY\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>The demand of C.B.A for counting of temporary service rendered by an\nemployee prior to regularization for the purpose of payment of gratuity shall\nbe decided by the Board of Directors separately.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>30. OTHER TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>i) All the existing terms of service as expressly stated and in practice\nwill continue to be enforced, except to the extent modified and covered by this\nAgreement. The demands contained in the Annex as referred herein before and not\nspecifically mentioned in the body of this Agreement will deemed to have been\nwaived\u002Fsettled\u002Fwithdrawn by the Union.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>ii) No existing benefits will be compounded with similar benefits stipulated\nby law or by practice during the period of the operation of this Agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>31. DURATION OF AGREEMENT\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It is mutually agreed that this Agreement shall be effective from 1st July,\n2011 and shall continue to be effective and binding upon the parties until 30th\nJune, 2012 and shall be deemed to be settled under Industrial Relations Act\n2012.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>32.
