Baber Zareen Butt - Finance Secretary\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Short Recital of the Case\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>WHEREAS the C.B.A had served a Charter of Demands dated December 29, 2012\nu\u002Fs 35(1) of IRA, 2012.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHERE AS Bilateral Negotiations were held between the parties on the\naforesaid Charter of Demands;\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHERE AS the C.B.A pleaded inflation and rise in the cost of living as\njustification for their Charter of Demand;\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHERE AS the Bank pleaded rationalization of facilities and capping of\nhidden costs as justification for acceptance of the Charter of Demand;\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>It is also considered necessary to bring on record that the overall Package\nSettlement on the aforesaid Charter of Demand has been reached keeping in view\nthe inflation and rise in the cost of living, rationalization of facilities,\ncapping of hidden costs and the assurance given to the Bank that the Clerical\n&amp; Non-Clerical employees (“workers”) shall work with more devotion and\ncommitment and shall enhance their productivity;\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>General\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>1. It is hereby agreed that the Terms of this Memorandum of Settlement shall\nbe effective for Two Years i.e. from January 01, 2013 to December 31, 2014.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>2. It is also agreed that during the operation of the Settlement, UBL\nEmployees &amp; Workmen Union, Punjab, Islamabad &amp; KPK (C.B.A) and\u002For any\nsucceeding C.B.A for Punjab, Islamabad &amp; KPK shall not raise any demand(s),\nfinancial or otherwise, on the Bank.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>3. That the benefits of this Settlement shall be available to all eligible\nClerical &amp; Non-Clerical employees (“workers”) of the Bank. The C.B.A\nshall not response the cause of any Employee other than the CS\u002FNCS.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>4. Any increase, be that by way of increase in Salary, cost of living\nallowance, special allowance, additional special allowance or any other\nallowances given by the federal and\u002For provincial government during the period\nof this Settlement, is liable to be adjusted\u002Fsetoff.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5. That it is clearly understood and agreed that the terms of this\nSettlement are binding and applicable only to the permanent full time Clerical\nand Non-Clerical workmen of the Bank, who were in the employment of the Bank as\non January 01, 2013 and are still in the employment of the Bank; as workmen on\nthe date of signing of this agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Terms of the Settlement\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>1. Increase in Gross Pay\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-STRUCINCR_trigger\">\u003Cp>It has been agreed to give an increase of Rs. 3,250\u002F- in Gross Pay of\nDecember 31, 2012 (excluding conveyance allowance). This increase will be\neffective from January 01, 2013.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>2. This increase will be effective from the date of\nsigning of this agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>4. Double Duty\u002F Gazette Holiday Allowance\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Double Duty\u002FGazette Holiday Allowance for Security Guards has been enhanced\nfrom Rs. 300\u002F- to Rs. 350\u002F- per day worked. This increase will be effective\nfrom the date of signing of this agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>5. Gun Allowance\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Gun Allowance paid to the Security Guards has been increased from Rs. 350\u002F-\nto Rs. 400\u002F- per month. This increase will be effective from the date of\nsigning of this agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>6. Drivers Allowance (Extra Payment for Extra work)\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Drivers who work in extended hours shall be paid up to the maximum capping\nof Rs. 2,800\u002F- per month. This shall be inclusive\u002F in lieu of overtime. This\nincrease will be effective from the signing of this agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>7. Washing Allowance\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>The existing Washing Allowance has been from Rs. 450\u002F- to Rs. 500\u002F- per\nmonth. This increase will be effective from the date of signing of this\nagreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>8. Hajj Facility\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Nine (9) Employees shall be sent for Hajj through balloting. The balloting\nwill be done through Computer in the presence of C.B.A &amp; Management\nrepresentatives. Bank will bear the expenses as per announcement of the\nGovernment Package and leave for that period shall be allowed with pay. The\nincrease of two (2) employee will be effective from the date of signing of this\nagreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>9. Late Sitting Allowance\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>The Late Sitting Allowance has been enhanced from Rs. 1,200\u002F- to Rs. 1,400\u002F-\nper month, to be paid to the eligible CS &amp; NCS Staff who sit late beyond\nworking hours, except Drivers and Guards. This shall be inclusive \u002F in lieu of\novertime. This increase will be effective form the signing of this\nagreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>10. Punctuality \u002F Attendance Allowance\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>The Punctuality \u002F Attendance Allowance for CS &amp; NCS has been enhanced\nfrom Rs. 400\u002F- to Rs. 450\u002F- to be paid as per Bank’s Policy. This increase\nwill be effective from the date of signing of this agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>11.
