Sui Southern Gas Company Ltd. (The Company)\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>2. People Labour Union of Sui Southern Gas Company Ltd. (C.B.A)\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>SHORT RECITAL OF THE CASE\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>WHEREAS the Company was formed in terms of order of the Hon’ble High Court\nof Sindh dated 30th March, 1989 as a result of two stage merger of Karachi Gas\nCompany Ltd. Indus Gas Company Ltd. and Sui Gas Transmission Company Ltd.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHEREAS it was agreed in the settlement concluded on 27 February, 2010\nbetween Sui Southern Gas Company Ltd. and Peoples Labour Union of Sui Southern\nGas Company Ltd. (C.B.A) that next charter of demands will be submitted by the\nC.B.A within two (2) months after the expiry of said Agreement. Accordingly,\nthe C.B.A submitted to the Company a Charter of Demands vide letter No. CH-2 on\n24 August, 2010.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHEREAS the C.B.A under its letter No. PLU\u002F80\u002F10 dated 29 December, 2010\nnominated a Committee for negotiation, conclusion and signing of a Settlement\non Charter of Demands and other terms and conditions of services.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHEREAS preliminary discussions and negotiations commenced on 18 March,\n2011 between the representatives from Management and C.B.A, Negotiations on\nCharter of Demands were in progress but in the meantime Referendum for\ndetermination of C.B.A in the establishment of SSGC was held on 26 January,\n2012 and the then C.B.A, Peoples Labour Union, Sui Southern Gas Company Ltd.\nagain won the referendum and certified as C.B.A by the RITU, NIRC effective\nfrom 23 February, 2012. After certification, newly elected C.B.A under its\nletter No. Nil, dated 15 March, 2012 reconstituted a committee for negotiation,\nconclusion and signing of a Settlement on Charter of Demands and other terms\nand conditions of services.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHEREAS discussion and negotiations re-commenced on 16 March, 2012\nbetween the representatives of the Management and the C.B.A. Revised Charter of\nDemands was submitted by the C.B.A on 16 March, 2012.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHEREAS after detailed deliberations, exhaustive discussion, through\nreview of all the relevant factors including rise in the Cost of Living and\nnegotiation on the said Charter of Demands of the C.B.A and other\nrequests\u002Fproposals made\u002Fbrought up during negotiations from time to time, the\nCompany and the C.B.A have arrived at an Agreement as is hereinafter contained\nbeing in full and final settlement of all the demands as on the date of signing\nof this Agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>PARTIES TO THE AGREEMENT\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>This Agreement is signed on 18th October, 2012 between the Sui Southern Gas\nCompany Ltd. (a company incorporated in Pakistan under the Companies Ordinance\n1984) having its registered office at SSGC House, Sir Shah Suleman Road,\nGulashan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, hereinafter referred to as the Company (which\nexpression wherever the context so admits shall mean and include its successors\nand assignees) on the ONE PART.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Peoples Labour Union, Sui Southern Gas Company Ltd. an Industry-wise Trade\nUnion registered with R.I.T.U NIRC Islamabad, and declared as “COLLECTIVE\nBARGAINING AGENT” w.e.f. 23 February, 2012 for all the permanent\nestablishments of the Company in Pakistan, vide certificate No. 05\u002F2012 of the\nNational Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC), Islamabad, representing\nvarious categories of permanent and registered workers on the payroll of the\nCompany, having its registered office at SSGCL, Head Office, Sir Shah Suleman\nRoad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi hereinafter called C.B.A (which expression for\nthe purpose of this Agreement shall mean and include its successors, nominees,\nassignees and replacements) of the OTHER PART.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>OBJECTIVES\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>It is intent and purpose of this Agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>I. To ensure a sound and materially beneficent industrial and economic\nrelationship between the Management and its workmen.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>II. To set forth herein a complete Agreement between the parties covering\nall aspects of all terms and conditions of services of regular workmen directly\nemployed by the Company.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>III. To stabilize Management – Labour relations and to specify the rights\nand responsibilities of the Company, the C.B.A and the Workmen.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>IV. To ensure continually improving efficiency, higher productivity, control\nof UFG and optimum use of Company resources in order to promote and improve the\nindustrial and economic relationship between the Company and its workmen.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>V. To implement relationship between the Company and its workmen.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>EXTENT OF APPLICATION AND ADMISSIBILITY OF THE BENEFITS OF THE AGREEMENT:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>This Agreement is confined to and covers only the permanent workmen of the\nCompany who are employed continuously by the Company directly and are on the\npayroll of the Company and the benefits of this Agreement will, unless\notherwise specified herein below, will be admissible only the regular workers\nemployed directly and on the payroll of the Company on 1 July, 2010.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>TERMS OF AGREEMENT\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of the demands as on the date of signing of\nthis Agreement. It is agreed that as a result of the negotiations, the Company\nwill grant to all the workers the following benefits, additional\u002Freasonable\nincrease to cover up rise in cost of living subject to modification of the\nexisting terms and conditions of employment applicable to workers concerned to\nthe extent herein under through this Agreement, where necessary and the C.B.A\nhas agreed to the same.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>1. APPOITMENT OF RETIRED\u002FSENIOR WORKER’S CHILDREN\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>1.1 It has been agreed that the children (son\u002Fdaughters) of retired workers\nwho have been retired during the period the period from May 2001 to 31\nDecember, 2005 shall be offered employment.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>1.2 The matter for employment of children of those workers who retired from\n1 January, 2006 onwards will be discussed\u002Fsettled with consultation of C.B.A in\nnext Charter of Demands.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>1.3 Fifteen (15) children (5 each from unit) of senior serving workers will\nbe offered employment on the basis of seniority of their services in the\ncompany on the date of signing of this Agreement. In case there are two\nemployees who joined the company on the same date, the employee senior in age\nwill be treated as senior to his colleague.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>1.4 Other terms and conditions will remain unchanged.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>2. WORKERS REINSTATED THROUGH PRESIDENTIAL ORDINANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>2.1 C.B.A demanded for seniority and Special Pay of workers reinstated as\nper Sacked Workers (Reinstatement) Ordinance 2009\u002FAct, 2010 but the demand was\nnot agreed by the Management.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>2.2 Workers reinstated in accordance with Sacked Employees (Reinstatement)\nOrdinance, 2009 who were on the Payroll of the Company as on 1 July 2010 will\nbe paid “Adhoc Allowance” @ Rs. 5000\u002F- per head\u002Fper month effective form 1\nJuly, 2010 and Workers reinstated in accordance with Sacked Employees\n(Reinstatement) Act, 2010 will be paid “Adhoc Allowance” @ Rs. 5000\u002F- per\nhead\u002F per month from the date of their reinstatement \u002Fjoining the Company. No\nother worker will be eligible for the same.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>2.3 This “Adhoc Allowance” will not form part of wages for any other\npurpose thereof.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>3. BASIC PAY\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-STRUCINCR_trigger\">\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of demand it has been agreed that a flat\nincrease of 27% of basic pay or minimum of Rs. 1000\u002F- will be allowed to all\nregular workers who were on the Payroll of the Company as on 1 July, 2010 and\ntheir Basic Pay will be fixed at the nearest step of their respective pay\nscale.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>4. ALLOWANCES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It has been agreed that:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>4.1 Retired\u002Fdeceased workers’ wards inducted in the company as per\nAgreement dated 27 February, 2010 and were on the Payroll of the Company as on\n1 July, 2010 will be paid “Special Dearness Allowance” @ Rs. 1300\u002F- per\nworker \u002F per month effective from 1 July, 2010 to 31 December, 2011.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>4.2 Retired\u002Fdeceased workers’ wards who joined the Company after 1 July,\n2010 will be paid “Special Dearness Allowance” @ Rs. 1300\u002F- per worker\u002F per\nmonth from the date of their joining the Company to 31 December, 2011.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>4.3 “Special Dearness Allowance” will automatically be ceased to be paid\nafter 31 December, 2011.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>4.4 “Special Dearness Allowance” will not form part of wages for any\nother purpose thereof during the above said period.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>4.5 Effective 1 January, 2012 following existing Allowances are enhanced:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>4.5.1 Conveyance Allowance is enhanced from Rs. 1275\u002F- to Rs. 1600\u002F- per\nmonth per worker.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>4.5.2 Clinic Conveyance Allowance is enhanced from Rs. 300\u002F- to Rs. 700\u002F-\nper month per worker.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>4.5.3 Electricity Allowance is enhanced from Rs. 750\u002F- to Rs. 1325\u002F- per\nmonth per worker.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>4.5.4 Other terms and conditions of above referred allowances will remain\n-unchanged.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>4.6 Workers residing in Company’s quarters at Head Quarters and Karachi\nTerminal will be paid “Special Head Quarter Allowance” @ Rs. 575\u002F- per\nworker \u002F per month effective from 1 January, 2012. This “Special Head Quarter\nAllowance” will not form part of wages for any other purpose thereof and no\nother worker will be eligible for the same.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>5. HAJJ\u002FUMRAH &amp; ZIARAT\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.1 Hajj\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.1.1 Number of workers for performing of Hajj on Company’s expense is\nenhanced from 42 to 48 workers per year (i.e. enhancement of two (2) workers\nper year\u002Fper unit).\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.1.2 Balloting for selection of workers for performance of Hajj on\nCompany’s expense will be held in the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal of each Islamic\nCalendar year so that selected workers may timely make necessary arrangements\nlike international passport etc.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.1.3 Special leave with pay for performance of Hajj on Company’s expense\nis enhanced from 40 to 45 days.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.1.4 This will become effective from the date of signing of this\nAgreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.1.5 Other terms and conditions of above said schemes will remain\nunchanged.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.2 Umrah\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.2.1 The amount of Rs. 35000\u002F- being paid for performance of Umrah on\nCompany’s expense is enhanced to Rs. 40000\u002F- per eligible worker.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.2.2 Balloting for selection of workers for performance of Umrah on\nCompany’s expense will be held in the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal of each Calendar\nyear.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.2.3 Selected worker will have to perform Umrah within three months the\ndate of balloting failing worker from waiting list will be offered to perform\nUmrah.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.2.4 This will become effective from the date of signing of this\nAgreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.2.5 Other terms and conditions of above said schemes will remain\nunchanged.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.3 Minority Workers\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.3.1 Minority workers selected for visit their holy places on company’s\nexpense will be allowed 12 days special leave with pay for this purpose.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.3.2 This will become effective form the date of signing of this\nAgreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>5.3.3 Other terms and conditions of above said schemes will remain\nunchanged.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>6. GAS ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of demand, it has been agreed that:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>6.1 Gas Allowance is enhanced from Rs. 600\u002F- to Rs. 700\u002F- per month per\nworker.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>6.2 This will become effective form the date of signing of this\nAgreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>6.3 Other terms and conditions of this allowance will remain unchanged.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>7. MATERNITY ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of demand, it has been agreed that:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>7.1 Maternity Allowance is enhanced form Rs. 10000\u002F- to Rs. 12000\u002F- per\ndelivery.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>7.2 This will become effective from the date of signing of this\nAgreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>7.3 Other terms and conditions of this allowance will remain unchanged.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>8. HOUSE BUILDING LOAN\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of demand, it has been agreed that:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>8.1 Workers’ quota for House Building Loan is enhanced from 90 to 96 per\nyear (30 to 32 workers per unit).\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>8.2 This will become effective from the date of signing of this\nAgreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>8.3 Other terms and conditions of this loan will remain unchanged.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>9. COMPNAY’S MOTOR CYCLE LOAN\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of demand, it has been agreed that:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>9.1 Workers’ quota for Company’s Motor Cycle Loan is enhanced from 108\nto 114 per year (i.e. from 36 t0 38 inclusive of female workers each unit).\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>9.2 This will become effective from the signing of this Agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>9.3 Other terms and conditions of this loan will remain unchanged.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>10. WELFARE FUND\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight focus\" id=\"clause-disabilityfund\">\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-unemploymentfund\">\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of demand and in suppression\u002Fmodification of\nexisting Welfare Fund Schemes in all three units, it has been agreed that:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>17.1 Modified\u002Famended Welfare Fund Scheme will be applicable for all the\npermanent workers of all three Units of the company i.e. Unit A, B (including\nEx-LPG\u002FQNGDP) &amp; Unit C and uniform SOP for the same will formulated in\nconsultation with C.B.A before 31 December, 2012. SCHOLARSHIP\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-educationtuition\">\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of demand it has been agreed that:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>19.1 Amount of Post Matric Scholarship for the workers’ children is\nenhanced from Rs. 800\u002F- to Rs. 1000\u002F- per month.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>19.2 Number of workers’ children for scholarship is enhanced from 48 to 54\n(i.e. enhancement of 2 workers’ children from each unit)\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>19.3 It is agreed in principle that eligible children of workers will be\nconsidered for Scholarship abroad and details\u002Fprocedure will be decided with\nconsultation of the C.B.A\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>19.4 This will become effective from the date of signing of this\nAgreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>19.5 Other terms and conditions will remain unchanged.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>20. ADVERTISEMENT OF EXECUTIVES POSTS AT REGIONAL OFFICES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of demand it has been agreed that vacancies of\nexecutive staff as and when advertisement will also be pasted at Regional\nOffices Notice Boards so that interested workers meeting the required induction\ncriteria may avail opportunity to apply for the said post.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>23. MEDICAL FACILITY\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-healthcareaccess\">\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of demand it has been agreed that Company will\nprovide maximum financial assistance through CSR for transplantation of human\norgans subject to availability of fund in CSR Fund.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>24. ESTABLISHMENT OF LIBRARIES AND SPORTS CLUB AT REGIONAL OFFICES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of demand it has been agreed by the Management\nin principle that:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>25.1 In order to improve the knowledge of employees, appropriate\narrangements of libraries will be made at regional offices.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>25.2 Sports and Fitness Club at Regional Offices will be established\nprovided that Sports Club Committee like Unit A and C is constituted.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>26. GENERAL POINTS\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of demand it has been agreed that:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>26.1 High performer workers will be considered for training abroad as per\ncompany’s requirements with consultation of the C.B.A purely on merit\nbasis.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>26.2 The functions for celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) in the month\nof Rabi-ul-Awwal every year will be arranged at Regional Offices.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>26.3 The menu of food in Company’s Canteens will be made with consultation\nof C.B.A and will be taken full care of standard and hygienic food in the\ncanteens.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>27. VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTION OF ONE DAY SALARY SCHEME\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>In full and final settlement of demand and in supersession\u002Fmodification of\nexisting system\u002Fpractices in respect of Voluntary Contribution one day Salary\nScheme, it has been agreed that in order to improve the existing system of\ndistribution of voluntary one day salary contribution to the retired and\ndeceased workers and to curtail the lingering on waiting list of retired and\ndeceased workers, effective October, 2012, it has been decided that:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>27.1 All workers who are at present members of the Voluntary one day salary\ncontribution scheme will continue to be the members of this scheme.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>27.2 All those workers who were reinstated in the Company through\nCourts\u002FOrdinance, 2009 and Act, 2010 or appointed in the Company from 2007\nonwards, will be treated members of this voluntary one-day salary contribution\nscheme from the month of October, 2012 and deduction of one-day salary from\ntheir monthly wages will be started forthwith.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>27.3 All other workers who are not, at present, members of this voluntary\none-day salary contribution scheme, will have the right to become the member of\nthis scheme provided that they have minimum of five (5) years of service with\nthe Company prior to their retirement. Such worker(s) will be required to\nsubmit their application to the respective RHRC on prescribed form. On receipt\nof application of a worker, RHRC will advise Finance Department to start\ndeduction of one-day salary from the monthly salary of concerned employee.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>27.4 Any worker i.e. member who desire to leave this scheme at his own will\nand to stop deduction of one-day salary contribution from his salary, will have\nto submit his application to respective RHRC through his Section\u002FDepartment\nHead. The RHRC will advise Finance Department to stop the deduction of one-day\nsalary contribution from his salary.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>27.5 Any worker (member) who leaves his voluntary one-day salary\ncontribution scheme at any stage will not be eligible to receive any benefit of\nthe scheme neither legal heir of deceased or retired workers will have the\nright claim any benefit.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>27.6 Amount deducted on account of one-day salary contribution from the\nmonthly wages of the member workers, will be paid to the retired employees,\nemployees retired on medical grounds (on recommendation of Medical Board) and\nemployees expired during the service.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>27.7 Exiting system of distribution of monthly one-day salary contribution\namongst the eligible retired\u002Fexpired worker of Unit A and unit B including\nemployees Ex-LPG &amp; QNGDP will stand amended and now onwards payment of\none-day salary contribution will be made up to maximum prescribed limit on the\nbasis of length of service\u002Fperiod of deduction of one-day salary contribution\nof respective worker (member).
