Now THEREFORE the Company and the union have\nmutually agreed to the following.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>TERMS OF AGREEMENT\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>1. OFFER, ACCEPTANCE AND OPERATIVE PERIOD\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>The Union while accepting the offers made by the Company Management as set\nout in this Agreement has withdrawn all other demands made vide its Charter of\nDemands dated 30.12.2013 and has further agreed that the operative period of\nthis agreement shall be two Calendar years i.e. 01.01.2014 to 31.12.2015 and\nthereafter it shall continue to be in operation till the expiry of two months\nfrom the date on which a notice in writing to terminate the same is given by\neither of the parties.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>2. INCREASE IN BASIC PAY\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-STRUCINCR_trigger\">\u003Cp>It has been agreed to allow an increase of Rs. 1,000\u002F- (Rs. One thousand\nonly) per month in the basic wages\u002Fsalary of all permanent employees i.e.\nhourly rated and monthly paid staff up to Grade P-III\u002FV.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>3. HOUSE RENT ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It has been agreed to allow an increase of Rs. 600\u002F- per month in House Rent\nAllowance of all the permanent unionized employees up to Grade P-III\u002FV, drawing\nHouse Rent at the rate of 60% of basic or minimum House Rent Allowance in\ngrade.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>4. CONVEYANCE ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-COMMUTE_trigger\">\u003Cp>It has been agreed to increase an amount of Rs. 800\u002F- per month in\nConveyance Allowance thereby raising the same from Rs. 2,550\u002F- p.m. to Rs.\n3,350\u002F- PM.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>5. ATTENDANCE ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It has been agreed to increase Rs. 300\u002F- per month in the Attendance\nAllowance thereby raising it from Rs. 1,480\u002F- to Rs. 1,780\u002F- per month subject\nto the terms and conditions already in vogue in this regard.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>6. PROVISION OF PAY SCALES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It has been agreed to enhance the 50% amount in the existing Slab interval\nof all the workers up to Grade P-III\u002FV.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>7. NIGHT SHIFT ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-NOCTPREM_trigger\">\u003Cp>It has been agreed to increase an amount of Rs. 100\u002F- per night in Night\nShift Allowance thereby raising it from Rs. 50\u002F- to Rs. 150\u002F- per night.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>8. CONTRACT WORKER\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It has been agreed effective from 1st of March, 2014 to confirm as a\npermanent employee to those contract workers enrolled on Packages Limited pay\nroll having more than one-year service as a Contract Worker with the Company\nand are working on production floor or directly working for production\ndepartments.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>10. GROUP INSURANCE\u002FWORKER COMPENSATION INSURANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight focus\" id=\"clause-healthinsurance\">\u003Cp>It has been agreed that in case of death of an employee during the course of\nemployment either natural death or accidental death during on duty, the amount\nof compensation increased from Rs. 200,000\u002F- (Rs. Two lac) to Rs. 500,000\u002F-\n(Rs. Five lacs).\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>11. FUNERAL EXPENSES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-funeralpay\">\u003Cp>It has been agreed to increase an amount of Rs. 10,000\u002F- in this expense and\nrevise it from Rs. 25,000\u002F- to Rs. HAJJ SCHEME\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It has been agreed that the number of workers to be sent on Hajj on Company\nExpense will be 5 workers every year. All other terms and conditions already\nenforced remain the same.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>15. OUTDOOR DUTY MEAL EXPENSES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It has been agreed to increase an amount of Rs. 50\u002F- per meal, thereby\nraising it from Rs. 100\u002F- to Rs. 150\u002F- for outdoor on duty per meal\nexpenses.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>16. RETIREMENT PARTY\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It has been agreed that in case the retirement of a permanent workers after\nattaining the age of 58 years, a retirement party will be arranged by the\nManagement in the Packages Canteen as per following detail:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>1. Maximum number of participants from the relevant department will be 75 in\nnumber.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>2. Menu for retirement party per participant will be:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>- Samosa 2 per person\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>- Sandwich\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>- Fruit Cake\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>- Tea or Juice\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>3. A gift amount of Rs. 2000\u002F- will also be given to the relevant retire\nworker from the management side.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>17. UNIFORM &amp; SOAP TO WORKERS\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-protectiveclothing\">\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-healthandsafetypolicy\">\u003Cp>It has been agreed to form regularity in the supply of uniform to workers as\nper time schedule. It has been further agreed to change the brand of one soap\ngiven to workers from white Lifebuoy to Capri Soap with the same quantity and\nthe other one soap will remain the same.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>18. SCOPE, EXISTING FACILITIES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>This agreement covers all the employees up to grade – V and P-III shall\nbecome effective from 01.01.2014 except where Particular date is specified in\nany of the foregoing clauses. All existing terms, conditions of services,\nfacilities and amenities shall continue to remain in force save the extent they\nare modified, changed or altered by this agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>19.
