Mr. Manzoor Hussain - General Secretary\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>SHORT RECITAL OF THE CASE\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>WHEREAS the last settlement singed on 11th February, 2013 between the CBA\nand the Company which expired on December 31 2013.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHEREAS the CBA and the Company under section 35 of the Sindh Industrial\nRelations Act 2012 exchanged their charter of demands both dated January 01,\n2014 (Photocopies of which are annexed hereto and marked “A” and\n“B”).\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHEREAS the parties above mentioned held several joint meetings to have\nbilateral negotiations on CBA and Company’s Charter of Demands, the period of\nwhich was extended from time to time with a view to resolve the dispute and to\nreach an amicable Agreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHEREAS the intent and purpose of this agreement is to further promote\nworking atmosphere, the existing cordial and amicable industrial relations\nbetween the company and the Union to achieve the highest level of employees’\nperformance and output.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>The parties have reached the following agreement taking into consideration\nthe cost of living allowance being paid by the company in accordance with the\nprovisions of the Employee’s Cost of living (relief) Act 1973 as amended up\nto date and to meet the inflationary trends and in FULL AND FINAL settlement of\nall the demands contained in the said charter of demands and all other demands\nraised by the CBA, it has, however, been agreed between the Company and CBA\nthat neither this agreed period of the Agreement nor the quantum of benefits\nawarded under this Agreement will ever be quoted as precedence in future.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>NOW, THEREFORE, this Agreement witnesses as under:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>1. LEAVE FARE ASSISTANCE (LFA):\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-ANNLEAVE_trigger\">\u003Cp>It is mutually agreed to increase LFA to Rs. 6000\u002F- from Rs. 5000\u002F- (an\nincrease of Rs. 1000\u002F-) to all permanent workmen once in a year.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>4. JERSEY &amp; SHOES ALLOWANCE:\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-protectiveclothing\">\u003Cp>It is mutually agreed to increase Jersey &amp; Shoes allowance to Rs. 2950\u002F-\nfrom Rs. 2700\u002F- per worker (an increase of Rs. 250\u002F-) once in a year. (i.e. Rs.\n1475\u002F- for each allowance).\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>5. REFRESHMENT ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It is mutually agreed to increase refreshment allowance to Rs. 100\u002F- from\nRs. 90\u002F- ( an increase of Rs. 10\u002F-) per worker for working 2 hours over time\nafter normal working hours i.e. till 7:00pm\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>6. OUTDOORS LUNCH ALLOWANCE\u002FCLOSURE OF CANTEEN\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>a. It is mutually agreed to increase meal allowance to Rs. 300\u002F- from Rs.\n250\u002F- (an increase of Rs. 50\u002F-) per permanent worker in case of canteen closure\n(except in the month of Ramzan) and when performing the official duty outside\nthe factory premises assigned to them by their concerned supervisors provided,\nthat the workers remain on outside duty during their respective lunch hours or\nperform duty during public and gazzeted holidays. Increase to Rs. 300\u002F- from\nRs. 250\u002F- in dinner allowance while performing duty outside the city during\nworking hours or work in night shift.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>b. Increase to Rs. 75\u002F- from Rs. 50\u002F- in Breakfast Allowance for all\npermanent workers\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Depot Workers only\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>c. Night stay allowance for depot workers only increase to Rs. 600\u002F- from\nRs. 500\u002F- per worker\u002Fper night. (Increase Rs. 100\u002F-).\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>7. SHIFT ALLOWANCE:\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It is mutually agreed to increase shift allowance to Rs. 125\u002F- from Rs.\n110\u002F- (an increase of Rs. 25\u002F-) per permanent worker worked other than general\nshift.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>8. IFTAR ALLOWANCE:\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It is mutually agreed to increase Iftar Allowance to Rs. 150\u002F- from Rs.\n125\u002F- (an increase of Rs. 25\u002F-) per permanent worker per day if one stays till\niftar time.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>9. ANNUAL PICNIC:\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-ONCERISE_trigger\">\u003Cp>It is mutually agreed to increase Picnic allowance to Rs. 1000\u002F- from Rs.\n700\u002F- (an increase of Rs. 300\u002F-) per worker once in a year; in addition Rs.\n50,000\u002F- would be given as Hut fare (increase of Rs. 10,000\u002F-) along with the\ntransport that is already being provided by the Company.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>10. UMRAH\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>It is mutually agreed that total cost for Umrah be increase to Rs. 600,000\u002F-\nfrom Rs. 450,000 for the specified permanent workers selected through balloting\nonce in a year.
