Phoenix Armour (Pvt.) Ltd. P&amp;O\nPlaza, I.I Chundrigarh Road, Karachi, under Section 35 of the Industrial\nRelations Act, 2012.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Management on receipt of the Charter of the Demands dated January 9th, 2015\nentered into negotiations with the Union, after a series of meetings, wherein\nthe Union pleaded inflation and rise in the cost of living which factor\nprimarily weighted in acceptance of the demands provided herein below with\nmutual understanding between the C.B.A Union and the Management, the parties\narrived at a full and final settlement on all the Demands contained the said\nCharter of Demands as detailed hereinafter.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>TERMS OF AGREEMENT\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>1. INCREASE IN SALARY\u002FWAGES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-STRUCINCR_trigger\">\u003Cp>It is agreed that wages of every workman shall be increased by Rs. 1000\u002F-\nper month w.e.f. January 1st, 2015.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>2. OVERTIME\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-OVERTIME_trigger\">\u003Cp>Rs. 3\u002F- per hour shall be added to the overtime rate of all workmen. ALLOWANCES\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>The following increases are also agreed:-\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>a. Matric Allowances:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Matric Allowances Rs. 100\u002F- per month, to all guards who possess\nMatriculation Certificate.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-ONCERISE_trigger\">\u003Cp>b. Attendance Allowance to CIT\u002FResponse Force:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>i) Rs. 500\u002F- per month will be paid if the guard attends his duty without\nany absentee during the first 10 days of the month.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>ii) Additional Rs. 500\u002F- per month will be paid if the guard does not remain\nabsent for more than one day during the next 20 days of the month, otherwise he\nwill not be entitled to this allowance.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>c. Off Day Allowance\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Washing allowance to be paid as under:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>A. To response force only.....Rs. 40\u002F- per month.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>B. To CIT personnel only except in Karachi.....Rs. 60\u002F- per month.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>4. MATERNITY LEAVE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight focus\" id=\"clause-paidmaternityleavepay\">\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-paidmaternityleave\">\u003Cp>It is agreed that maternity benefits for period of 12 weeks shall be allowed\nto female workers. No more than 6 weeks precede before the date of\nconfinement.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>5. WORKERS PROFIT PARTICIPATION FUND\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-ONCERISE2_trigger\">\u003Cp>It is agreed that 5% of profit shall be paid and disbursed in accordance\nwith the provision of the Companies profit (Workers’ Participation) Act,\n1968.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>6. RETIREMENT AGE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>Retirement age will continue to be sixty years. However, based on the nature\nand requirement of job, the Company at its sole discretion may offer temporary\njob for a duration of six months to an employee after completion of retirement\nformalities and settlement of all dues with the Company.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>7. LEAVE WITH PAY ON ACCIDENTAL INJURY\u002FHOSPITALIZATION\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-disabilitypay\">\u003Cp>a) The Management has agreed to grant leave with pay for the period of\nhospitalization due to accidental injury sustained during performance of\nduties. Quantum of special leave with pay shall be maximum of three months.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>b) The above benefit shall be extended in other cases of hospitalization but\nonly after adjustment all sick and accumulated annual leaves.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>8. INSURANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-healthinsurance\">\u003Cp>In addition, insurance benefits as in force, (mentioned as under) Rs.\n200,000\u002F- shall be paid to dependent heirs of a guard who loses his life in an\nencounter with dacoits.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>a. FUNERAL EXPENSE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-funeralpay\">\u003Cp>It is agreed as under:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>If any guard expires while on duty to accident or otherwise or loses his\nlife in any accident, it will be the responsibility of the company to send the\ndead body to his native place by fastest means. The concerned manager, in such\ncases, should get formalities completed and arrange dispatch of the dead body\nto the native place of the deceased by booking the coffin box through\nair\u002Fambulance as per the situation.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Since, offices of the company are operating in almost all the big\ncities\u002Ftowns of Pakistan, the office nearer the native place of the deceased\nshall be informed to receive the dead body and arrange its proper delivery to\nthe family\u002Frelatives of the deceased. One of the Supervisor\u002FOfficer of the\nnearby station may represent the Company at the time of burial.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-funeralpaytype\">\u003Cp>It is agreed that a sum of Rs. 12,000\u002F- will be paid to the family of the\ndeceased for meeting funeral and burial expenses.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Provided that the above sum shall be Rs. 24,000\u002F- in case guard is killed by\nthe bullet of the dacoits during the performance of duty.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>11. DEATH WHILE ON LEAVE\u002FNOT ON DUTY\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>In case guard is away on leave from his place of posting and dies, there\nwill be no responsibility of the company to make any sort of arrangement. If\nthe guard expires within jurisdiction of his place of posting and no relative\nor family member is available to take care of the dead body, company will\narrange its dispatch to this native place. The procedure detailed in para 9\nabove shall be followed in such cases.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>12.
