SHAHEEN WORKERS UNION NIMIR CHEMICALS PAKISTAN LIMITED, COLLECTIVE\nBARGAINING AGENT (“ CBA Union”) – Party of the Second Part.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>WHEREAS the CBA Union (Party of the Second Party) Served a Charter of\nDemands under the provisions of Industrial Relations’ Ordinance, 2002, to the\nParty No 1, vide their letter Reference No. SWU\u002F2C13\u002FOct dated 10\u002F12\u002F2013 ( The\n“Charter”).\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHEREAS the Company started bilateral negotiations with the CBA Union\n(Party of the Second Party) and for this purpose various meetings were held\nbetween the parties After bilateral negotiations following has been agreed\nto:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Note:This agreement is in full and final settlement of all the demands\nraised by the union in the Charter of Demand dated 10\u002F12\u002F2013.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>1. Service Awards\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-SENIOR_trigger\">\u003Cp>Service awards have been fixed as follows.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>a) Rs. 5,000\u002F - on completion of 5 years service.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>b) Rs. 10,000\u002F - on completion of 10 years service.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>c) Rs. 15,000\u002F - on completion of 15 years service\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>5. Children Education\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-educationtuition\">\u003Cp>Agreed that, with effect from 1st October, 2013, reimbursement of the school\nfee of children of workers upto Rs. 700\u002F- per month per child shall be allowed\nto maximum of 2 (two, children. Such reimbursement will be subject to\nsubmission of original school fee bill duly attested by the principal \u002F\nheadmaster \u002F headmistress of the school.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>6. Group Life Insurance\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>The Company has already arranged life insurance coverage to all its\nemployees as per law\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>7. Overtime for Festival Holiday\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>The overtime for festival holidays will be paid according to the prevailing\nin the country.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>8. Call Money Allowance\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>The Company has agreed to increase call money allowance to Rs. 250\u002F- to the\nworker who will be called to attend an emergent work at the plant.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>9. Hospitalization Cover\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-healthinsurance\">\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-healthcareaccess\">\u003Cp>Hospitalization cover for all the employees including their spouse and\ndepending children will be available according to the health insurance policy\nof the insurance company\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Ch2>10. Shift Allowance\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>The Company has agreed to increase the Shift Allowance from Rs. 500, - to\nRs. 600\u002F- with effect from 1st February, 2014.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>11. Canteen Subsidy\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-mealvouchers\">\u003Cp>The Company will bear 75% of actual cost.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>12. Refreshment for Night Shifts\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>The Company will provide three (3) standard 125 gm packs of biscuits to the\nworkers in the night shift.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>13. Milk\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>The Company will provide 3 liters milk to every shift.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>14. Late Arrival Shift Van\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Agreed that, if shift van reaches after one hour of schedule time, then\novertime will be paid to those company workers who are on duty at Factory in\nrespective shift.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>19. General\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>I) Provisions of this agreement supersede all the earlier written or verbal\nagreement\u002Fnotifications\u002Finstructions\u002Funderstanding.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>II) In case any litigation is initiated by the unionized worker of the\ncompany, the CBA will not be a party thereof.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>III) That the CBA union undertakes that during the currency of the present\nsettlement\u002F agreement the union shall not raise any demands whether financial\nor otherwise and the union will endeavor to maintain industrial peace and\ncooperate in increasing the production.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>20.
