(Hub\nUnit) submitted a Charter of Demands under Section 42(1) of the Baluchistan\nIndustrial Relations Act 2010 to the Company under cover of its letter dated\nAugust 11, 2014 after expiry of the Memorandum of agreement dated October 09,\n2012 (Annexure-I).\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHEREAS bilateral negotiations initiated on the said Charter of Demands\nunder Section 42(2) of the Baluchistan Industrial Relations Act 2010 were\nextended from time to time with mutual consent to enable the parties to arrive\nat an overall settlement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>AND WHEREAS as a result of bilateral negotiations held between the parties\nand in consideration of rise in the cost of living, a full and final settlement\nof all the demands contained in the said charter of demands has been arrived at\nthe terms and conditions specified hereunder:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>NOW THEREFORE, the following has been agreed between the parties hereto:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>TERMS OF AGREEMENT\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>Due to rise in the cost of living and in consideration of full and final\nsettlement of all the demands contained in Annexure “A” hereto the Company\nand C.B.A hereby agree to the following:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>1) BASIC PAY\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-STRUCINCR_trigger\">\u003Cp>That the Basic Pay of all those workers of the company who were in permanent\nemployment of the company on 11-08-2014 shall be increased by Rs. 1350\u002F- (Rs.\nOne thousand three hundred fifty only) per month w.e.f. August 11, 2014.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>2) HOUSE RENT ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-ONCERISE_trigger\">\u003Cp>That the House Rent Allowance will continue to be paid at the rate of 30% of\nthe basic pay. Consequently, there will be an increase of Rs. 405\u002F- (Rs. Four\nhundred five only) per month in House Rent Allowance in respect of all those\npermanent workers who were in employment of the company on August 11, 2014 due\nto increase of Rs. 1350\u002F- (Rs. One thousand three hundred fifty only) per month\nin the basic pay in accordance with clause 1 above.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>3) CONVEYANCE ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-COMMUTE_trigger\">\u003Cp>That the existing Conveyance Allowance of Rs. 560\u002F- (Rs. Five hundred sixty\nonly) being allowed to eligible permanent workers will be increased by Rs.\n110\u002F- (Rs. One hundred ten only) per month to that of Rs. 670\u002F- (Rs. Six\nhundred seventy only) per month w.e.f. August 11, 2014.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>4) MILK ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>That the existing Milk Allowance of Rs. 316\u002F- (Rs. Three hundred sixteen\nonly) being month to that of Rs. 366\u002F- (Rs. Three hundred sixty six only) per\nmonth w.e.f. August 11, 2014. All other terms and conditions for payment of\nthis allowance will however remain unaltered.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>5) WASHING ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>That the existing Washing Allowance of Rs. 160\u002F- (Rs. One hundred sixty\nonly) being allowed to permanent workers will be increased by Rs. 30\u002F- (Rs.\nThirty only) per month to that of Rs. 190\u002F- (Rs. One hundred ninety only) per\nmonth w.e.f. August 11, 2014. All others terms and conditions for payment of\nthis allowance will however remain unaltered.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>6) LEAVE FARE ASSISTANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-ANNLEAVE_trigger\">\u003Cp>That the existing Leave Fare Assistance of Rs. 10,000\u002F- (Rs. Ten thousand\nonly) payable once in two years to permanent workers will be increased by Rs.\n1000\u002F- (Rs. One thousand only) to that of Rs. 11,000\u002F- (Rs. Eleven thousand\nonly) w.e.f. August 11, 2014 once in two years.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>7) HEALTH INSURANCE COVER\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight focus\" id=\"clause-healthinsurance\">\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-healthcareaccess\">\u003Cp>After expiry of the existing Insurance Policy for hospitalization inpatient\nmedical cover of permanent workers employed at Hub, the company shall renew\ninsurance policy for hospitalization inpatient medical cover of permanent\nworkers at Hub in accordance with the exiting terms and conditions of\ninsurance. However, the existing hospitalization inpatient medical cover of Rs.\n30,000\u002F- (Rs. Thirty thousand only) per confinement per person shall be\nincreased to Rs. 40,000\u002F- (Rs. Forty thousand only) per confinement per\nperson.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>8) SHIFT ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>That the existing Shift Allowance of Rs. 20\u002F- (Rs. Twenty only) per month\nbeing allowed to eligible permanent workers will be increased by Rs. 10\u002F- (Rs.\nTen only) per month to that of Rs. 30\u002F- (Rs. Thirty only) per month w.e.f.\nAugust 11, 2014. All other terms and conditions for payment of the said\nallowance will however remain unaltered.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>9) NIGHT SHIFT ALLOWANCE\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cdiv class=\"cbaClause highlight\" id=\"clause-NOCTPREM_trigger\">\u003Cp>That the existing Night Shift Allowance of Rs. 20\u002F- (Rs. Twenty only) per\nshift being allowed to eligible permanent workers will be increased by Rs. 10\n(Rs. Ten only) per shift to that of Rs. 30\u002F- (Rs. Thirty only) per shift w.e.f.\nAugust 11, 2014. All other terms and conditions for payment of the said\nallowance will however remain unaltered.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>10) WORKERS PICNIC\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>That henceforth assistance being provided to workers for arranging picnic\nfor themselves will be allowed to the maximum amount of Rs. 170,000\u002F- (Rs. One\nhundred seventy thousand only) per annum.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>11) GENERAL\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>i. The C.B.A hereby agrees that in consideration of the benefits given by\nthe company under this Agreement, all the remaining demands, whether covered by\nthe Charter of Demands or not shall be construed to have been dropped and\u002For\nwithdrawn by the Union under this agreement and thus will be deemed to have\nbeen settled and\u002For satisfied.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>ii. It has also been agreed that between the C.B.A and the Company that all\nother terms and conditions of employment &amp; previous Agreements\u002FSettlements\nnot covered or modified by this agreement shall continue unchanged subject to\nthe Company’s right to amend the service rules and other terms and conditions\nof employment and enforcement of relevant laws.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>iii.That in consideration of the benefits allowed the Company under this\nAgreement the C.B.A agrees and undertakes not to raise or pursue directly or\nindirectly any demand or dispute involving any direct or indirect financial\ncommitment on the part of the Company, during the operative period of this\nAgreement.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>iv. Since the monetary benefits under this Agreement have been granted with\na view to providing relief due to ruse in the cost of living, hitherto,\nnotified and\u002For announced by the Government as well as such rise which may\noccur during the operation of this Agreement, it is specifically agreed by the\nC.B.A that in the event of the Company being compelled by any law or any\nmandatory Government directive to pay any amount to the workers over the course\nof period kept in view of this settlement, then in that event, the workmen will\nnot remain entitled to the monetary benefits under this Agreement to the extent\nof the amount which they shall receive under the law or mandatory Government\ndirective.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>v. It has also been agreed by the C.B.A that it will make every endeavor\ntowards maximizing production, improving efficiency and quality, avoiding waste\nof working hours in non-productive and non-official work and encourage workmen\ntowards higher productivity and betterment of discipline.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Cp>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\u003Ch2>12) PERIOD OF OPERATION OF AGREEMENT\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\u003Cp>This agreement will be deemed to have come into operation w.e.f.
