It does, however, require employers to provide transport to and from the workplace to the workers during the hours of 7 pm and 5 am during autumn and winter (8 pm and 6 am during summer months). \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A person cannot be employed for night work unless:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>they are fit for the job and have undergone a health assessment at the employer's expense.\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>Night workers must be granted reduced working hours without any loss of earnings or, alternatively, receive extra pay for their night work. \u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003C\u002Ful>\n\u003Cp>The extra pay must be at least one and a quarter time (125%) their normal rate or as determined by a collective agreement.
