Minimum Wage Updated in Illinois, United States of America from 01 July 2026 - July 01, 2026
Minimum wages have been revised in Illinois, United States of America with effect from 01 July 2026. The minimum wages are increased as follow:
- For Chicago - Employers 21 or more employees, from $16.60 to $17.05 per hour;
- For Chicago - Small Employers 4 to 20 employees, from $16.60 to $17.05 per hour;
- For Chicago - Youth Workers, from $16.50 to $17.05 per hour;
- For Chicago - Tipped Workers Employers 21 or more employees, from $12.62 to $12.96 per hour;
- For Chicago - Tipped Workers Small Employers 4 to 20 employees, from $12.62 to $12.96 per hour;
- For Cook County - All except tipped workers, from $15.00 to $15.40 per hour; and
- For Cook County - Tipped workers, from $9.00 to $9.25 per hour.
