National Floor-level Minimum Wage Raised in India - June 29, 2015The Center has raised the national floor-level minimum wages (NFLMW) to Rs 160 per day from Rs 137. The new rate will come into effect from July 1, 2015. Industrial workers and employees in sectors including plantations and services could benefit from the said wage hike, if the states follow the revised national wage floor.
