  1. Minimum Wages in the UK are determined as follows
    • Adult rate for those above 21 years of age
    • Development rate for those between the age of 18-20 years
    • Youth Rate for those between the age of 16-17 years (16 year olds must be above the statutory school leaving age, which falls in the 1st summer after the 16th birthday).
    • Apprentices Rate for those under the age of 19 or in the first year of training.
