  1. From May 1, 2016, Minimum Wage in Romania would be 1250 RON per month

  2. According to article 164 of the Labour Code, national minimum wage corresponds to the normal work schedule. Article 112 of the Labour Code provides that the normal working time for full-time employees is of 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. The Government Decision about minimum wage states that minimum wage is calculated on 168 average working hours per month.
