  1. From July 2016, minimum wage will be raised from RM900 to RM1,000 per month for Peninsular Malaysia and from RM800 to RM920 for Sabah, Sarawak and the Federal Territory of Labuan
  2. As per the Guidelines for the Minimum Wages Order 2012, the minimum wage rate  are based on calculations of total working hours of a maximum of 48 hours a week.
