  1. Belorussian government establishes two different guarantees for wage: the tariff basic rate for the first grade and the minimum wage. Minimum wage consists of tariff rate plus bonuses, allowances, other compensation and incentive payments. So, the tariff basic rate is the part of the minimum wage. The first grade of workers is meant the least skilled work and the lowest payment. The tariff basic rate for the first grade is used for counting and differentiation of wages for professions.
  2. Beginning August 2014, hourly rates will not be set in Belarus. Only monthly minimum wage rate shall apply. 
  3. According to art. 112 of the Labour Code of the Republic of Belarus the full norm of working time can’t exceed 40 hours a week.
