Switzerland - Ground staff presents petition to airline CEO - June 30, 2026

A delegation of Swiss airline employees presented Swiss CEO with a petition containing 600 signatures. In it, the ground staff clearly demand better recognition of their services in the collective agreement currently being negotiated. Although Swiss has been at the top of the airline industry for years, posting enormous profits and becoming the cash cow of its parent company Lufthansa, the ongoing collective negotiations are proving difficult for ground staff. The petition originated from the “sounding board” of SEV-GATA employee delegates and was signed by a third of the affected employees in less than a month.
