Sweden - Pilot strike called off after agreement - February 28, 2026
The Swedish Aviation Industry has signed a collective agreement with the Swedish Pilots' Association (SPF) for the pilots at Braathens on 14 February 2026. This means that all notices of industrial action cease and the risk of strike is over. The collective agreement between the parties expired in March 2025. Since then, negotiations have been ongoing and the parties have disagreed, among other things, on which company the pilots should be employed by. According to the employer, the cost increases are within the mark, the framework that the industry parties set for the 2025 agreement campaign.
