Spain - 9.9% pay increase at beer producer - May 31, 2026

Heineken España and the company's union representation have reached a remuneration agreement for the 2026-2028 period that ensures a minimum cumulative salary increase of 9.9% by the end of its term for more than 1,400 employees. The agreement, which puts an end to several months of negotiations with mobilizations and strikes at all the workplaces in the country, has been ratified by 78% of the workforce. According to the President of the Works Council, one of the central purposes of this process was to achieve "a multi-year salary agreement" that would avoid subjecting the workforce to a new conflict each year over salary revisions.
