Slovenia - Insurance staff demands wage talks - June 30, 2026

The request by the Conference of Insurance Unions of Slovenia that the management of state-owned insurance company Zavarovalnica Triglav immediately enter into negotiations regarding salary increases for employees and the systemic regulation of the salary system has been signed by more than 1,064 employees. In addition to regulating the salary system, employees also expect better working and sales conditions for agents and that Zavarovalnica Triglav should stop closing and selling real estate in the country and withdrawing from the hinterland, as the insurance company's presence in all parts of the country is its greatest competitive advantage.
