Slovenia - Emergency dispatchers suspend two-year strike - February 28, 2026
Emergency dispatchers have suspended their two-year strike after reaching an agreement with the Government. The agreement was signed on 9 February by dispatcher trade union representatives and the Defence Minister. While some of their strike demands remain unmet, talks are expected to continue. During the strike, dispatch services via the 112 emergency number operated without disruption, although some administrative activities were affected.
