Serbia - Special collective agreement for local government employees - May 31, 2026

A special collective agreement on amendments to the Special Collective Agreement (PKU) for employees in local government units was signed at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government. The agreement was signed by the President of the Serbian Administration Union, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and Secretary General of the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities. This act completed the negotiation cycle, and the validity of the PKU was extended for one year, i.e. until 31 May 2027. The signed amendments relate to paid leave, employee insurance, cash and other income (severance pay) and solidarity assistance to employees.
