Portugal - Pay deal at water company - February 28, 2026

The management of water company Águas de Portugal (AdP) Group and the STAL/FIEQUIMETAL union negotiating committee reaffirmed the proposal for a salary increase of at least € 150 for all workers, and an update to the meal allowance of € 12 per day. In light of the proposal presented by the union negotiating committee, AdP management agreed to set the salary update for 2026 at € 75 for everyone, with a minimum of 2.5%. The negotiating committee acknowledges that the increase now achieved falls short of what is necessary and demanded by the workers, but still represents a minimum advance, and provides for retroactive payments to the month of January.
