Poland - Government prepares minimum wage rise - June 30, 2026

The Government is preparing to determine the amount of the minimum wage and minimum hourly rate for 2027. The relevant proposals have been submitted by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy. The Government has until mid-June to present a draft decision on the minimum wage and hourly rate for 2027 to social partners. The ministry proposes to set the minimum wage at 4,986 zlotys (€ 1,159) gross and the minimum hourly rate at 32.60 zlotys (€ 7.58) gross. However, the unions demand an increase of the minimum wage to at least 5,200 zlotys (€ 1,210).
