Poland - Dispute ends with agreement at meat producer - June 30, 2026
“Solidarność” union reported that a collective dispute at meat producer Agryf Szczecin had ended with a wage agreement. The deal was signed on 23 June during a “last-chance” mediation meeting, two days before a planned warning strike. The dispute had concerned pay increases, with the union arguing that the company’s economic position justified higher wages. Earlier talks had ended with a protocol of disagreement and workers had prepared for a strike referendum. Under the compromise, additional money negotiated by the union will be paid to all employees from July 2026.
