Poland - Collective agreement in defence and aviation industry terminated - May 31, 2026

Representatives of the Union of Employers of Defence and Aviation Enterprises have terminated the multi-enterprise collective agreement that has been in force in the defence and aviation industries for 30 years. Representatives of the Secretariat of the Metalworkers' Union of NSZZ "Solidarność" announced the event. On 15 May, representatives of the employers issued a letter announcing that they are unilaterally terminating the multi-enterprise collective agreement. This means that the agreement will remain in force for only six more months. The letter does not provide the reasons for the termination.
