Norway - Strike at car care company reaches six months - September 30, 2026

On 18 September, unions held a banner rally in Ski to mark six months of strike action at the car care company Andresen Karosseri. Fellesforbundet members there walked out on 18 March to demand a collective agreement, which the company has refused to sign. A district court rejected the company's claims in a court case over the strike. Employees have also been dismissed in what the company calls downsizing, but which the strikers and Fellesforbundet's Oslo-Akershus branch see as targeted attacks on union members. The union also accuses the company of strikebreaking. Fellesforbundet union secretary Steffen Høiland said the whole union stands behind the strikers.
