Norway - Agreements for state and municipal workers - May 31, 2026

On 29 May, an agreement was reached in the state settlement. The framework for the settlement ended up at 4,4%, the same as was agreed in the frontline union. This means real wage growth for union members. At the same time, there is agreement on similar agreements for YS Stat, Unio and Akademikerne. LO Stat is still in mediation. There is no central, general supplement in this settlement. All supplements are distributed in local negotiations within the businesses. An agreement was also reached for the municipal settlement.
