Norway - Agreement for hospital employees - May 31, 2026

Trade unions and the Spekter employers’ association reached agreement in the central wage negotiations for hospital workers, covering workers in public hospitals and hospitals with operating agreements. The agreement ensures all YS members a general salary increase, before local negotiations are carried out in each individual hospital. The collective agreement's provisions on competence development are also strengthened. Employees in lower pay groups area given a general supplement of up to € 1,749 and employees in higher pay groups receive 3.4% more.
