Netherlands - Youth workers suspend strike after new wage offer - February 28, 2026
The national strike by youth care workers scheduled for 2 March has been suspended. The unions FNV Healthcare & Welfare, CNV, and FBZ made this decision after employers submitted a new collective agreement offer after three weeks of relay strikes,. The unions are presenting this new proposal to their members, who have until 18 March to give their opinion on it. The new offer provides sufficient grounds to suspend the previously announced national strike of 2 March.
