Netherlands - New agreement for paper company - August 31, 2026

The FNV union and paper company Papyrus have reached an agreement on a new company collective agreement. The new collective agreement runs from 1 July 2026, to 31 December 2027. There will be a total wage increase of 4.7% in three steps: 1 July 2026: 1.2%; 1 April 2027: 2.5%; and 1 July 2027: 1%. The union and Papyrus are going to investigate which work is so demanding that workers cannot continue doing it until retirement. Then an early retirement scheme (RVU) will be discussed. Now union members can vote on the agreement.
