Netherlands - Negotiation result for logistics centers - April 30, 2026

Unions reached a collective agreement for the logistic centers of Albert Heijn supermarket chain. The collective agreement will run for one year, from 19 April 2026 to 24 April 2027. A wage increase of 3.6% takes effect as of 19 April. Since inflation during the collective agreement period was 2.7%, there will be a significant improvement in purchasing power. However, no agreement was reached on automatic indexation, so next year the unions will have to bargain hard to compensate for the inflation of the coming period.
