Netherlands - Negotiation result for confectionery industry - August 31, 2026

Unions FNV, CNV, De Unie, and employers’ organization VBZ have reached a negotiation result for the new confectionery industry collective agreement (2026-2027). FNV Food Industry is satisfied with the agreement reached. Until 30 August 2026, FNV members can vote on the negotiated agreement. The negotiation result includes, among other things, provisions regarding the early retirement scheme (RVU) and public holiday leave. Wages will increase by a total of 4%: 1% as of 1 October 2026, and 3% as of 1 January 2027. The agreement will run from 1 October 2026, until 1 October 2027.
