Netherlands - Draft decree on pay transparency - June 30, 2026

On 19 June 2026, a draft Decree on the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive for men and women was published for consultation. The decree includes practical details for compliance with the transposition law currently making its way through the Parliament. The draft decree covers, inter alia: definitions of pay concepts, formula for calculating the pay gap, additional rules for electronic submission of reporting. The consultation period will close on 31 July 2026.  The public, including employers and unions, can provide feedback on the draft decree until then.
